    quilt top

This is a quilt top I will be donating for the church quilt ministry.
It was a random thing, trying to use up the blue rose fabric left over from a apron I made for my daughter.
This is the first piecing I have done in about 20 years.

How fun! I like the piecing you have going on in the center!

Did you use standard size squares/triangles throughout or did your center ones have to be larger to accommodate the extra seams... Does that make sense? I've been sitting here staring for awhile and figured I'd better just ask!
To stitch or not to stitch... There is no question.

              stitchywoman,
My center block are 6 inches like all the rest. I was just playing around after I found out how to make the hour glass blocks, because I was going to be short of fabric, so I seamed some pieces together to make them big enough and they turned out like the center blocks, so I had to make 4. Happy accident.
The border fabric is Barefoot Roses collection by Tanya Whelan for Free spirit.
