    Baby Quilt

See if this works. This is a quilt I made for a friend's new baby girl. It was a pre-printed panel
with these littel sayings and that you added to your own fabric. There were detailed instructions. Lots
of triangles, which I really had a time with. Lots of the corners did not meet exactly, but I was pleased with it and I don't think my friend would have noticed the little mistakes. I just hand-tied it and it
took me a long time to make it. I do not have the patience to hand quilt, so I mostly do the tying
    thing.

Well, it did work. I am sorry that you can't see the whole quilt, but the writing would not have shown up. I used a pink printed with
little ducks along with a solid yellow.

    Hi Joy,
This is adorable and will be a well loved, well used gift. I know I obsess over every gift I make because I see all my mistakes and imperfections, when in truth, the recipient is simply overjoyed with your time, love and thoughtfulness.

I've had a quilt my entire life that was hand tied and it's lasted through many childhold incidents, tea parties in the garden, camps and a whole lot of washes.

I'm sure this one will be just as loved, it is beautiful x

Thanks for the comments on the quilt.

Hillbilly, I looked at your blog and really enjoyed reading about your family. I am assuming that it
was your husband that was recently ill??? Hope that he is doing well.

Your tutorial for making the placemat was very clear and done very well. They are so cute and nice
that you can roll them up. Nice way to store them and they don't take up a lot of space.

I still have a lot to look at here.

I like the hand tying - especially for a baby quilt. It is really cute.

That's adorable and I think your triangles look great!
