Jelly Roll Baby Quilt made from your tutorial

I made this baby quilt by looking at your tutorial for jelly roll quilts from 3 Dudes. I just love how it turned out! I have never made a pieced quilt like this so this my first one!! I am so excited that I think I am now hooked!

It's beautiful!! Congratulations -- you'd never know it was your first quilt.

Thanks! I made it for my Goddaughter's baptism. I had made a baby blanket 12 years ago but it was a solid piece of fabric on the front and back with a lattice machine quilting stitch in the middle. When I saw the tutorial, I thought I could make that! I had never machine quilted with a stipple before. I wish I had a long arm but can't afford to buy one.

        The quilt turned out gorgeous!

I'm laughing though because it's 3 Dudes, named after the 3 guys that own a quilt shop in Arizona. I wonder what they'd think about being called dogs.

She went back and corrected her post. I thought it was funny that she made it from the 3 Dogs tutorial.

Top Dog I guess!! I can't wait to make another quilt. I am thinking of 2 new ones already. One in tropical caribbean colors for our basement rec room and the other in purple/zebra or hot pink/teal/zebra combo for my daughter's room.

Ha, you've got it bad already! Welcome to the darkside. The next step is figuring out how to move someone out of your house so you can use their room for fabric storage.

So funny!! I have plans in two years when my oldest goes to college! I already have a huge yarn stash and now my husband will surely go crazy with my new fabric stash!

I am not a purple kind of gal, but that's really pretty and will give a baby lots to look at.

I have 3 kids I am trying to get to move out, guess they like my cooking or maybe the rent free space.

                              Hugs,
