    What would you do?

    Hey All,

I just bought two of these and am not sure what to do with them so was wondering if you guys had any ideas for what to do with them?

    Thanks

Not sure how big they are but...you could put a border(s) on it and do some hand quilting or machine outline quilting for a small baby quilt. Another option is to make it into a wall hanging.

    Happy Sewing,

The fabric is 36" by 44" I wanted to make quilts out of them but not sure what I should do around the outside of it.

That's a darling panel! It would be a darling baby gift for a boy's nursery either as a quilt or wall hanging. You could add blocks around the panel or sashing or...whatever! Really cute!

I would follow the plaid theme and put some four patch blocks around the edge to make a checked border. I think it would make a really cute baby quilt. If you put a plain border and then a checked one and then another plain it would be a good size.

Oh that's cute! I know I have seen some other postings with John Deere fabric, wouldn't that make a cute border to frame around it? Maybe layered with some other green or yellow fabric to have a double border or even be the binding? I guess it depends on how much bigger you want it to be, but I love the idea of the JD fabric as a border or backing.
