    Need some Stir-Fry Recipes

    Hi,

Me and my husband want to get away from the stir though jars sauces you just mix into diced chicken or beef and serve up. My daughter has been having some allergies lately to food when I have been using these jars. Plus its scary to think what goes into these jars sometimes. So I want to start cooking stir fry from scratch. Today I brought some sauces like oyster sauce, plum sauce etc. Plus a lot of fresh vegies you use for stir fries. Nothing can be tomato based as my daughter is allergic to tomatoes.

    Thanks in advanced.

I found this site and have made a few of them, the Lemon and the Orange ones in particular. They are really good. I've made some of the others, but do some alterations - like adding ginger!

It's great that you are getting away from the pre-made jars and making them on your own. It's really easy once you have the ingredients on hand.

    1/2 cup lemon juice
    2 tsp. lemon zest
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 cup sugar

Our dinner last night was so yum. It was nice having fresh vegies in it. Not just out of a frozen packet as I usually buy. I have bookmarked that site on my laptop.
