Re: Spaghetti Salad
Karen, thanks for the seasoning recipe. Barb's correct. It is getting difficult to find the salad supreme. Hope y'all enjoy this as much as I do.

Re: Spaghetti Salad
Thank you everyone, that does sound very yummy and thanks Karen for the seasoning recipe I certainly don't think we have that one. My DH isn't big on salad, calls it rabbit food, this sounds yummy so I don't mind if I don't have to share...tehe. I may pass on the olives though or find something to substitute.

Re: Spaghetti Salad
http://www.mccormick.com/Products/He...Seasoning.aspx
this is what the seasoning is, it's a McCormick brand. Not sure if you have it in Australia.
Here is a copycat recipe I found so if you had to, you can make your own seasoning.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 teaspoons sesame seeds
1 teaspoon paprika
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon poppy seed
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
1 dash cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons romano cheese (optional)
Directions:
1 Combine all ingredients and mix well.
2 Store in a sealable container in the fridge.

Re: Spaghetti Salad
Blondie, I've made this salad for about 30 years. I think it was the first pasta salad I ever tried. It gets even better the second day. It's getting hard finding Salad Supreme but I recently spotted it at Dollar General (of all places). Maybe this will be our dinner tomorrow...thanks for reminding me of this old faithful recipe....Barb

Re: Spaghetti Salad
Yum, that sounds good. Kind of like a pasta salad with new type of pasta. Fun. I will try this, once I find that salad seasoning. HMMMM?
