    Carrot Salad

    Carrot Salad

    3 cups shredded carrots
    1 1/2 cups raisins
    1 can pineapple, drained
    Dressing:
    2/3 cup Miracle Whip- thinned with a little milk (1 to 2 tbsp) not too much or it will be runny
    2 Tbsp Sugar
    1 Tbsp Vinegar
    Mix well and pour over carrot mixture.

    Yum as usual! I would love to peruse your cookbook selections! Thanks for sharing. Can't get it done for lunch....perhaps dinner!

      I've said it before and I'll say it again.....mlt150, you should make a cookbook! BTW, I love carrot salad. I've always called it carrot slaw (I guess that's because of the shredded carrots). I've never used the milk, sugar and vinegar though. Going to have to try it your way - maybe without the vinegar, I hate that!

          Sounds good but what is miracle whip please

            I make this a lot but without the pineapple - never tried that.
            Blueberry - Miracle Whip is like Mayonaisse.
