    Ice Box Cookies

    2 c white sugar
    2 c brown sugar
    2 c margarine, melted
    4 eggs
    1 tsp cinnamon
    2 tsp cream of tarter
    2 tsp soda
    7 c flour
    1 cup mini chocolate chips
    1 c nuts

    Cream margarine, sugar, and eggs. Mix soda, cream of tarter and 5 cups flour. Mix together, then add last 2 cups flour. Add nuts. Line a 9 x 13 pan with waxed paper, sprinkle with sugar. Press dough into pan. Cover with waxed paper and freeze. To bake, slice long way into thirds, then cut short way into finger sized pieces. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes, making sure not to over bake. They should remain light in color. Makes 12 to 15 dozen. I always get less cookies because I cut them thicker. Store in an airtight container.
