Re: Official Catlin Women¹s Club Bar-b-cue

You are so sweet to say I should make a cookbook. I do contribute recipes to a very small local newspaper which helped me organize all my recipes on the computer. If I could quilt as well as I cook I would be a camper!!

    Happy Easter everyone,
    Dianne

I'm with Loonwatcher. As many receipes you post there should be a cookbook produced. I would buy one. Actually a couple and give to family as gifts.

    Official Catlin Women¹s Club Bar-b-cue

    5 lbs hamburger

    5 onions, chopped

    2 14 oz ketchup

    2 bottles Heinz chili sauce

    4 tbsp brown sugar

Tabasco sauce to taste (we omitted)

Fry meat and onions, drain fat. Combine meat with remaining ingredients and simmer to blend flavors. Serve on hamburger buns or may be used as a sauce on hot dogs. May be made a day before serving or frozen. Serves 25 and can be cut in halve or doubled.

    Simple but wonderful!!
