    Italian Beef



    3-4 lb roast (less tender cuts are fine to use)

    1 package Good Seasoning dry mix

    1 can beef consommé

    1 small jar pepperocini peppers with juice (hot or mild)

    Garlic powder to taste



    Place meat in a crock-pot and sprinkle with the Good Seasoning and garlic powder. Add pepperocini and pour consommé over all. Cook on low for 8 hours or until meat falls apart. Shred meat into juices and serve on a hoagie bun. Mozzarella cheese can be added and put under broiler for several minutes.

    My sister made this for me many years ago when we visited her - it was delicious! Thanks for the memories!

      We make this every other week at our house but I've never tried it with the Good Seasonings! Will pick some up for the next time!
