    Cooking & eating

This may have been posted before, if it was sorry.

Always take a good look at what you're about to eat.
It's not so important to know what it is.....
But it's critical to know what it was......

    The 4 Don’ts
    Don't over cook it
    Don't over season it
    If it DON’T taste good . . .
    DON’T Eat It !!

Nothing like taking a bite and finding a hot pepper that you weren't expecting!

My Grandpa Phillips was blind. We were at their house for dinner. Grandma had made green beans as part of the feast. Grandpa always ate a chili pepper diced up in his corn. He'd put the remains on the rim of his plate and it got caught up in a fork full of green beans. He jumped from the table shouting, "Whoa, whoa, whoa!" His ears turned red. We were all sitting there wondering what the heck! He finally found his tea, which probably didn't help, but it was icy cold.

What a wonderful memory. Well, not for Grandpa, or Grandma with the mess he made, but we certainly did have lots of laughs about it for years.
