First Night Owl Adventure for the 20's!

I'm trying to cram as much as I can in before I go back to work next Monday!

I have a couple buttons to sew on and I will have finished a current present and 3 languishing projects from a couple years ago! Then onto the next thing!
I think I'm like those people who go to the gym for the first few weeks and then slack off. I jump in and knock out some stuff and try to make a dent in the sewing room, then get to working on other things (laundry, dinner, vacuuming) and never quite get back to the to-do list.
I'm hoping the finishing group will help keep me accountable for making some progress.

What did you all do for your first day of 2020 in your neck of the woods?

Certainly nothing in the sewing room. I have a house guest in there, LOL!!
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!

I washed the batik hexagon quilt. I had to wash it a second time with more colour catchers as the blue batik ran thru the flannel backing. Second wash and all was good. I folded over edges of label and attached. Another Victoria quilt is ready to donate.

I started sewing the on-point rows of another quilt. We will keep you accountable. There's also another thread, no need to join, you can just post it's called WIP- (with date).

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

I made a dent in taking down Christmas decorations. I went over to my daughters house for dinner and brought Kaylee back thinking I had all this free labor. Well, she was whinny like it was going to kill her to take boxes down stairs. I just let her whine while she carried them down. I cant possibly sew until the house is back in order.
