    Couldn't e Cuter!

Saw this on the evening news.....awwwww, so sweet!

When nine adorable ducklings were left without a mother (she was killed by a fox), a kind-hearted dog stepped up to take on the responsibility.

Fred, a 10-year-old labrador, started to care for the ducklings after staff at Mountfitchet Castle in Essex noticed them wandering around the grounds alone last Thursday.

Gives ya the warm fuzzies......much needed in today's world!

That is just too sweet. Sandy, my lab would play with them until she killed them.

Oh that is such a great story! But I guess the ducklings haven't read the book yet called Are You My Mother. Dogs are everybody's best friend!
