    Anniversary

Ten years ago today, two doctors stood at the foot of my bed and announced to me that I had cancer. The journey (six weeks of chemo+radiation followed by surgery followed by ten weeks with an ileostomy followed by more surgery followed by six months of more chemo) was arduous, but well worth it. Today I am both cancer-free and symptom-free. So thankful that the journey came to an end, but more even grateful for the lessons learned along the way.

I know there are many here who have had cancer, or who have loved ones who have been afflicted by it. My prayer for you today is for healing within and without, and that you would know the love of God through it all.

    Blessings,

Congratulations on beating the monster. We just learned a few days ago that my dad has liver cancer. I think I am still in the numb mode.

I'm so glad that you are here and healthy!
