Wednesday already?

Good Wednesday morning friends. We got a little snow yesterday but no freezing rain, thank goodness. But they are getting a lot around Kingston and Trenton again today. I just talked with Nancy, she is still trying to sell her house, has all her sewing stuff packed as they will be moving at the beginning of February, plus she is working quite a bit these days. If you could offer some prayers that her house sells, I and she, would appreciate it.

We had our Victoria's Quilts day yesterday. 11 of us went out for lunch afterwards. Les received a cheque at Christmas for some flowers from a local shop here. Yesterday I ordered flowers to be delivered to the home where my mother-in-law lives for the staff to just say thanks for everything you do. I don't need flowers really.

So today I think I will try and tackle some sewing. Les has to work tonight so I get the evening all to myself.

Morning Everyone,

I have an early haircut today so I'm up and ready to go.

Yesterday was busy with two trips to Houston to take the Girls to the groomer and then picking them up, grocery shopping and cleaning carpet. I made a nice large chicken pot pie for dinner and then I was useless for the rest of the evening.

As soon as Jeff gets home from work today we will leave for Cuba to show two apartments. These have been vacant too long and we haven't been able to get there to show them for a while also. Today may be the day.

Nan, I sure hope your house sells....sending up some prayers for a buyer.

Morning! We had the freezing rain/ice pellets and rain late afternoon and overnight. What a mess. The schools have cancelled two days in a row, and although yesterday it really wasn't necessary, today, the roads are like skating rinks! This is crazy weather!

Still working on the Handy Purse Organizer and hope to finish it today. When I do, I will post some pics....then I WILL tackle the NCW, then try to get some of the UFO's finished...so much to do!

Prayers that Nan's house sells quickly, as well as for little Olive and all others who are in need.

Good morning everyone. Just thought I'd stop by to say hi. I am having a wonderful time getting to know little EJ. I tried to post pictures but they won't upload so I am afraid I'll have to wait until I'm home.

I have popped in and checked the forum a couple times. I see I have missed some birthdays so belated birthday greetings to all that have celebrated this week. I also saw some requests for prayers so I sent those upwards.

Wow, after days of dreary cloudy misty cold, it is a beautiful sunny sky here! Warm, also! But the weatherman says don't get used to it, because more rain is on it's way!

Trying to get my Valentine's quilt finished. I thought I had found the perfect backing in my stash. In two attempts to make a backing piece big enough, I found two holes in the fabric that I can't work around! I just gave up and went to JoAnns for something different to use. Hopefully I can get rolling and finish it today!

Nan, I know the frustration of trying to sell for months. It is no fun! I hope it works out for you soon!

We. Have managed to avoid the ice, just got a skim on driveway. Today has been so foggy can't see anything. Got my hair cut this morning & finished binding an UFO from last winter. Glad to be done with it not my best work, but done.
