    Spam Question

All the spam posts lately have me wondering. They look perfectly harmful, but there must be a reason for them to post.

What do they hope to gain?
If you open one - do they then have access to your computer/files????

    Re: Spam Question

I think if they have a link to something, DON'T open the link. (I may be wrong)

It's like playing Russian Roulette. Do you really want to take that chance?

      T - is it TRUE?
      H - is it HELPFUL?
      I - is it INSPIRING?
      N - is it NECESSARY?
      K - is it KIND?

Many spammers hope people are gullible. More than likely the football links have a ton of viruses to attach to your computer.

So can they get your info if you just open the post and don't click on the link?

            Re: Spam Question

Clicking on the thread to open it is not a problem - but clicking on the blue LINK is where a problem could happen.

              Re: Spam Question

Is the one titled Argentine Ants one of the ones your talking about? It makes no sense to me there is nothing to link to and open. I also wonder what they gain other than wasting their time .
