Not entirely "quilting" related but I finally did something with a sewing machine. I embroidered some knit caps for Wiggles's daycare class. The hats were purchased from walmart which took trips to 2 different stores to gather enough identical caps. I floated them on a piece of soft'n'stable and pinned water soluble stabilizer over the top. I used a font called Countryside and made the names in SewWhatPro (I didn't like the lowercase "b" so I even altered the "d" to be a "b" instead). Everything was stitched out on my Brother SE400. Not the fanciest or most incredible thing I've made but I know the kids will like them.

The hats still have wet spots from rinsing off the water soluble stabilizer in this picture.
