Good morning. Another day dawns.

Well today is Victoria Quilts day. Picking Bonnie up at 9 and off we go quilting. Too busy right now to do any kind of sewing, maybe this afternoon.

Good morning. It's a rainy Tuesday morning here. I haven't gotten to play with my new sewing machine yet since picking it up on Saturday. Hoping to be able to do that this evening after work.

Morning all. Yesterday was a bit stressful. We all including my manager found out Friday that we would get a new manager and she was being shipped to another store. The new guy seemed alright but yesterday was his into to us. My old manager will be around day a week as she is his mentor while he is still learning. Cross my fingers and hope for the best. Change is not always good.

Ginny, we are desperate for rain down here. The smoke from the wildfires is bad in our neighborhood. Hope we get some relief soon.

No BB tonight so I may make my way to the sewing room. I am working on FMQing Edith. I looked for a pattern on M* quilt designs and as I started doing it, I made it much too dense. Now it's taking a very long time to get this done. I think it's about 30% done.

I have been planning a special lunch next week with Jean Sewing Machine. She will be in GA to visit with her daughter for the holidays and we discovered that her daughter lives about 6 miles from me! As large as GA is, how amazing is that! We are planning on a lunch together and maybe we can squeeze some shopping in. Hoping that Lynn from GA can also join us.

I know what you mean, Cindy. Our air is almost as thick as Los Angeles. We desperately need rain. At least the fires have spared the National Park so far. How far from Atlanta are you? My granddaughter lives in north Atlanta, and I was born there.

I'm trying to finish a wallhanging, so I'd better get to it!

I'm NW of Atlanta - more west than north, in Paullding County. We have another fire that started out by the airport in our county. This one was a group of kids that were playing around and accidentally started it. Possibly smoking and discarding still burning butts. I think the oldest was 13. This fire is under control now - the northern fires are only about 25% contained. Are you located close to Gaitlinburg?
