I have seen the big moon

I saw it in Colorado, too -- both yest. eve., this a.m. as it was ready to set , & this eve. as it was coming up.

I keep forgetting to look for it as it peeks over the mountain but have seen it higher in the sky.

Ive seen it too. The sky cleared after days of rain. Ive designed and started to make a hare looking at the moon wallhanging to celebrate the big moon as I wont be here for the next one!

Normally the sky is clear but yesterday it wasn't, so I didn't see it because of all the clouds. We noticed on Saturday that the moon was bigger and lighter than usual. We thought we were wrong though, we hadn't heard of the super moon by then.

I woke up in the middle of the night and saw it around 3AM. It was slightly over the house so I had to open the window and stick my head out. There was some haze around it. The night before last it must have been too cloudy but the night previous to that it was super clear and I thought it looked really big then. Actually it was the clearest night that I've noticed in the 4 years I've been here. Even the stars were out all over the place. That one was really pretty and memorable.

I've been looking for it - but it's been very overcast and rainy. I'll try one last time tonight and hope it is still impressive.
