We are Group Health members and they work with the SCCA, which is great in my book. His doctors are in contact with them and also specialists at the UW Medical Center. Anyway, the scan will be done at Group Health up on pill hill and is the same place they put his port in. This means we get Dicks Burgers when we are done!!!

Heard from radiation while we were at chemo. The biopsy is a needle guided cat scan and isn't until December 11th!! So much for ASAP! Worse part is it is up in Seattle again.....oh, that's right! There is a shop I want, no need, to go to up there!

Yes, my husband had the major surgery because of the type of cancer. Radiation wasn't' t discussed, because in his case it wouldn't have helped. We doctored at the Mayo clinic, and they were wonderful. It is still annoying for him at times, but he is able to doe everything he did before. God bless as he makes his decisions.

You and your husband are in my prayers. With cancer treatments it seems like there's so much waiting for the next tests, results, consultations, etc.

oh my. What a hard week indeed. At least ya'll are eating and sewing. That's very good.

A friend from church has cancer and had to skip his last two chemos because his counts weren't high enough. But he didn't get off totally - they poked him and gave him transfusions (I think it was blood but it might have been plasma) to increase his iron and other blood goodies. He feels better and will probably do next week's chemo rounds.

All the options are good to know and muddle over once you have the scans and test results. It's a physical problem for sure, but such an emotional drain too. Keep up your spirits!
