    We've booked for America!!!!!

    Red letter day in our household as we've booked our summer holidays for next year!!! Going to spend 8 days in Orlando and 5 days at Madeira Beach. Have never been out of Europe and sooooo excited!!!


    DH and I are going with my DD, SIL & GS so it'll be a great family time for us. DH says I can do a bit of fabric shopping but need to watch the weight in our cases coming home but can't find any shops nearby boo hoo!

    If you know the hotel you are staying at you might check with them about having packages shipped to them and if they will hold them for you. Then you could order from Missouri Star or other shops and it would all be waiting on you when you arrive.

      Orlando! Everything Disney! You will have a GREAT time there. Enjoy planning your trip. I am sure there's a few Forum members here from Florida that could give you other ideas too. Having pkgs shipped home for you is definitely something to consider.

              Madeira Beach is nice. There is a place there called John's Pass. I have been there several times when I lived in Florida and then when I would visit Florida. It has a lot of shops and places to eat. I love it there.

                  We are going to Orlando dw in Feb. It can be hot and humid in the summer. Be prepared to drink lots of fluids to stay hydrated! And when you get in there you can buy some sunscreen because it is sunny most days also! Exciting! Have fun planning!
