    a much better week.....

Last week was a rough one. He did not go in to work at all, but worked remotely from home. This week he is feeling much better and has gone in the past two nights.

I have not had to take any puke pills since Saturday. We spent the day in the car, and being in a confined place with him after chemo really bothers me. We got the hospital bed set up in another room and he has been sleeping there, so that is working out good. He is using one bathroom and I am using the other. We are pretty much not seeing each other except in passing or when we eat, but whatever works I guess.

This Friday will be the end of round two. It's only one drug and did not bother me last time....oh, come to think of it, I was at the retreat, so I guess it didn't bother me!!! Was that already four weeks ago? How can that be?

That means in 48 more weeks, I'll see you again!!!
    pat.

So glad to hear this is a better week! Maybe he is adjusting to the meds and things will be better from here on in! Also glad you are feeling better as well. How much longer will his treatment go?

Pat, so glad things are better! You both are in my prayers every day. Take care of yourself and let MM know we are praying for him.

He has an MRI next Friday to see if the chemo is doing what it is supposed to. If it is, the chemo continues into January, three more rounds and each is four weeks long. If it's not, he will be having a very major surgery (at least that is what his two doctors want him to do, but at this point, he is not willing to have it done.

Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers and HUGS!!! Each and every one means so much!

Seems I spoke too soon! He came home from work about 0300 this morning....was not feeling well at all. He just got up and feels about the same, so may be working from home tonight.

It sounds so draining on the both of you. I know you can't wait for this treatment to end. You sound very upbeat though and I guess it is a good sign he feels well enough to work, with limitations. Sending positive thoughts for a good outcome on the MRI !!
