Re: Sunday Night Owl @,@
Have you ever tried those Salonpas? They are pads you put on your aches and pains and wear throughout the day. They well them at Costco, and I think they work well.
I have been sewing!!!! I have 26 of my items done and I am aiming for 45. I have another eight halfway done, but I need to cut the innards for them still, and I was not in the mood to do it tonight!
I started watching a show on Netflix called Stranger Things. I am not one to watch scary or freaky things and why I thought this would be a good idea to watch while sewing upstairs all by myself, I have no clue! I was doing pretty good until Yoda snuck into my studio and jumped up on my lap.....I nearly pooped myself!pat.

Hoot I'm glad your neck is feeling better, did you cross stitch last night or take a break because of your neck? There isn't much happening here as usual everyone is in bed but me.I went to the movies and dinner tonight with my DH,we went to see Sully. It was a good movie but a little confusing because they went back and forth in the time line which can easily confuse me.Have a good night.:icon_wave:Joan

Re: Sunday Night Owl @,@
I am trying to figure out what I did all day.
I am sure I was busy. Hmmm.
I did sleep until 8. Coffee.
Went to feed and let neighbors dogs out.
Made 2 more batches of banana blueberry muffins.
Did our farm chores.
Cleaned the kitchen, emptied the dish drainer, started the dishwasher.
Started some more laundry. Folded the 4 loads stacked up. Put away the said folded clothes. Actually HUNG up the jackets that had taken up residence on chairs and doorknobs throughout the house.
Yelled at the Seahawks while doing some of those other things.
Folded more laundry and put it away.
Fixed supper. Herded the 10 year old into the shower.
Washed more dishes and started even more laundry. (I think there are people just dropping off stuff when I'm not looking.)
Everyone is in bed and I'm having a glass and going to bed myself.
But you look around and think, WHAT did I do all day? At least yesterday I had cans of jam to show for the day's efforts.
I hope you all had a productive day, even if it didn't look like it!

Ugh, the kiddies were noisy in church today! I could only understand half of the sermon...

Re: Sunday Night Owl @,@
I haven't been up this late in long time, watched the Churchill show on PBS and it was boring and put me to sleep. I woke up around 11 and have been catching up with forum posts and thought I would give a Hoot to all the Night Owls.
Happy to hear Kim and Pat are back sewing - take it easy gals so you don't hurt yourselves again.
Cathy you have lots to show for your day, a well fed family and animals, lots of clean dishes and plenty of clean clothes all put away, now it would be great if it stayed that way for a few days. Oh, Don't forget the fresh baked muffins.
DH and I did nothing today, we were supposed to go out in the afternoon but we both felt kind of off. We ate very little for lunch and dinner was tea and toast. I did slip in a few of the Italian cookies my sister gave us yesterday, nice plain ones with good flavor.
Going to take a quick look around the forum and then wrap myself in a quilt and try to lull myself to sleep or I'll be too tired to do anything tomorrow.Last edited by MayinJerset; September 12, 2016, 01:17 AM.

Re: Sunday Night Owl @,@
I'm LATE - because it's 3am here and I just woke up. Very unusual for me but I got very tired and started nodding off around 10:30 so went to bed and was asleep by 11. Now I'm wide awake and no hope of getting back to sleep.
Vacuumed, did towels, and got the van to the shop for a rotation, alignment and oil with filter change. Can't believe I'll be on the road to Hamilton next Sunday. Dr appointment Mon afternoon - better set my alarm - who knows when I'll nod off again.
Everyone stay well ....

Re: Sunday Night Owl @,@
Hello night owls. Guess I'm one tonight too.......even though I should be sleeping. Our dog's stomach is bothering her right now. So I'm keeping her in the living room so her stomach gurgles won't keep DH awake. I dozed off several times but she keeps stirring around or wanting to go outside. I just ate me a snack and hoping to go lay down and sleep very shortly.
