Kids say the cutest things!

We have caller ID and automated answering service. If the number is blocked or unavailable or we don't recognize it, we don't answer. Figure if it's important they will leave a message. Also will not answer the phone if it looks like I'm calling. It takes talking to yourself to another level! LOL How stupid do they think we are?

We screen all our calls with the message machine. We don't pick it up unless the person identifies themselves & it's someone we want to talk to. One day recently we had 6 hang-ups. It just never quits. They all want something! People who know us will identify themselves; if we're close to the phone, we'll pick up.

It's election time, and my DIL was complaining to my son about the number of automated phone calls she has been receiving from all the various political entities.

6-year-old: Mommy, what's a robo-call?

DIL: It's like a robot calling me.

6-year-old: A robot called you? AWESOME!!!
