    A Sunday filled with Sunshine

So everyone must be on their way to the beach, lake, mountains or wherever to enjoy the next to last weekend in August. We'll be home as DS#1 will be over this afternoon to pick up an old love seat. We were going to pay to have it hauled away so we're glad he's taking it. Several months ago he had a big mold problem on the lower level of his home, it was completely stripped and all furniture was thrown out. Now it has been redone, floored and painted and
could some furniture. While he is here maybe he could BBQ some steaks for dinner, i hesitate having DH make them as he hates to BBQ anything bigger that a hot dog - and he burns them too.

Have a good day what ever you are planing.

Enjoy your day May. Staying indoors here in South Louisiana. To hot to go outside.

      Happy Sunday May!

We have a work day planed at Mom's, but first we are enjoying today's cooler temps with a cup of coffee and some screen time. We went from 95 to 75 overnight! What a difference a wind shift can make.
I hope you have a good visit with your son, and can get a decent grilled steak!

I hope the rest of you have a great day!
      Hugs,Cathy

Cathy.........I wish it was 75 degrees here. Right now it is hot and steamy.

In the 80's already here. Supposed to be ~90. At least the nights are cooling off so temps. are better for sleeping. Nice weather expected for 2-3 d. then more cool weather & chance of rain. I've been to church, came home without stopping for errands. I've had a snack, so now I'm ready to go sew! So sorry for all the folks in Louisiana coping with the flooding, which has been so devastating. And fires in Calif. Folks losing all their earthy possessions. It's heartbreaking.

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their week-end.

The weather here will be around 75 degrees, a nice break from the high temps. I have to finish getting the guest room ready for my friend who is coming to spend a few days with me. Other than that, not much planned for today.

It is a welcome cloudy, rainy day in east TN. We need the rain! A cool front is supposed come through tonight. I say cool because temps will still be in the mid to high 80's, but the humidity will drop back to normal for a few days. It is still August, so it won't last long, but fall is much closer than it was in July. That was the warmest July on record. I hate summer. I really suffer from the heat, and end up staying home and being still and quiet!

Happy Sunday, May. Happy Day to everyone reading this. Good Sunday here in Chino Valley. Temp low 80s, many clouds, thunder boomer earlier, little sprinkles of rain (of course, I just washed both sliding doors inside and out) and we are hoping for a really good rain. Opened up all the doors, let the sun shine in while we had it, cleaned my hardwood floors, did 3 loads of laundry, washed 4 small rugs to put back on my pretty clean floors. Went in to my sewing room (happy face) and put the first border on my Disappearing Bento Box quilt top. I got 32 blocks from a swap on QATW and made 12 myself. All shades of cream, purple and turquoise batiks. Beautiful! Second border fabric is in the washer and will cut that and put it on tomorrow. Then off to MSQC to be quilted. 96 by 108 is too big for me to handle on my Tiara III and my FMQ is kindergarten level. This is such a lovely quilt and I REALLY like it! I don't want to ruin it!!! This will be MY quilt so I want it done right. Spaghetti and salad and crusty bread for dinner (I made the sauce yesterday so not much to do tonight) Going to cut out and get ready to sew two pillow cases to be sent away . May get them done tonight on my serger. Hope all of you have had a happy and safe day and have spent it doing what you love the most, with who you love the most!
