Friday Night Owls - any weekend plans?

Terrible weather day with threatening skies and another evening downpour. Luckily it should cool things down for the next few days.

My big weekend plan is to go see Jenny's 2-hour Trunk Show tomorrow in the high school auditorium less than 2 miles from my house. The local guild is hosting it as part of its anniversary celebration. One show and 675 tickets sold. I know my adrenaline will keep me "high" the rest of the weekend ... and be inspired to start something new.

I just hope she & Ron didn't have too much of a bumpy ride on the way here.

What are your plans?

We haven't made plans for tomorrow yet. Hubs is going to see his dad in the morning. Sunday we are having his sister's family out to swim and cookout. I'll watch the Closing Ceremonies Sunday night.

Oh, Jenny posted a picture of a huge rainbow that was in the sky when they landed in NC yesterday.

Hoping to get some uninterrupted sewing as hubby went to AZ to see his mom for a few days. Just me and the dog here so I should have some time in between laundry loads.

It's my grandsons 1st b'day party, so I'm cooking a little in the morning. But I forgot an ingredient. WHY does that always happen!

I have to work a few hours in the morning for our annual disaster recovery exercise. This will be quickly followed by some hanging out with DD on Saturday. Plan to finish pillow shams on Sundayto go with Mom'said quilt. Maybe it will stop raining so I can take photos. Have a great weekend everyone.

My DS turns 30 today and wants to go deep sea fishing ,so everyone is up and ready to head out to Plymouth,Ma to go fishing.I hope we see some whales while were out there.Everyone have a good day.
