So sorry you are "stuck". You will be back to your busy self before you know it. I have been working on my favors for the retreat. I need to get some door prize things made too. That and work on my PICU quilts that still need to be quilted. No kids today, so that is a good thing. I need a break from them and DH.

Baked potato bag is one you use in the microwave to cook you potatoes. For the corn you just have to wrap the ear in a wet paper towel and push the fresh vegetables button. Somehow the microwave knows when it is done. The baked potato bag is made with cotton fabric and cotton batting.

Glad to hear everyone's doing ok so far. I'm working on putting house back together after having carpets cleaned yesterday. Have a wall hanging on the machine to quilt. Hopefully will do it later today.

Monique, I'm just like you when it comes to the hair. I can't feel right until it's clean. It's always a good start to my day.

Grandma Nurse - What's a baked potato bag? Hope your plumbing problems get resolved. That could get ugly.

I can get out and about but get so stuck in the habit of just staying home that I don't want to go anywhere. We are having a nice day here in Kansas. We had a little shower last evening and the temperature are to stay in the 90's.
We have been having plumbing problems for a few day..hope to have them figured out and solved today. Corn is ready here in southwest Kansas and #1 son brought us a tub full yesterday. The corn variety is called peaches and cream and it is as good as the name indicates. I use my baked potatoes bag to fix it in the microwave. So easy and no mess to clean up.
Monique, glad you are healing so well. Mae, hope you will be able to figure out a good solution of your guild fabric.

Must be feeling better I guess. I washed my hair in the sink in the bathroom, that felt good. A girl has to have clean hair. We did attend the Mayor's BBQ yesterday. It was so nice to be able to get out and talk to people. I had to drive home as hubby had consumed too much but it wasn't far, but I would not attempt to go far until the staples are out. We may go out Tuesday and get some groceries. Hubby is out cutting the grass this morning.

So this is my life for the coming week I guess. NOTHING!!!!! The Nurse is to return tomorrow to check things out.
