    Can't sew - can't read

Hello all my quilting friends. Just touching base here. I had cataract surgery last week and am still very much out of focus. However, I have been calling in in small visits and checking what you are all up to.

Jan, I saw your post about Emily and would like to add my thoughts and prayers for her.

Am also thinking of my friend Lisa down south in Victoria, NSW, who was in great pain and hoping you are able to get some relief Lisa. And all others who have been having a down time and need hug, I am sending a big one.

AND last, but not least, a great big Aussie HELLO to all those new members who have found their way to this wonderful Forum.

Mary, it is great to see a post from you. Wishing you a speedy recovery - I can't imagine how tedious it would be, not being able to sew or read.

Mary, sure hope your vision clears soon - what does your doctor say? When I had mine I walked out seeing better than I did before I went in . . . praying you have great success.

Hi Mary....I had cataracts removed from both eyes and the change is phenomenal. It's like getting a new set of eyes...colors are brighter and everything is in focus. Be patient, it takes a little bit to heal, but it's so worth it!!!! Hugs, Barb

                  Hi Mary
Glad to read you've had the cataracts removed. Soon enough you will be seeing well enough to find everyone's quilting mistakes, LOL. Big hugs to you.
