Arghhh, not having a good day so far.

First I dropped a bottle of milk all over the kitchen floor, then my son who is off of school today has a bit of a tummy bug and you can guess what he has been doing. I just hate cleaning up and the house smells now. Anyway, hopefully my day gets better as its only 10.30am in the morning.

I am determined to get my sewing machine out today, I have just finished all the housework now its time for me. My son has fallen asleep on the couch, he isn't a well boy today. We are going to the footy on the weekend to see a game as my husband wanted to do this for his birthday. So fingers crossed no one else in my family gets sick. ; Just getting into winter here and its windy and rainy and 11 degrees, a stay inside day for us. Even my windows in the house are fogging up. lol

Yuk about the milk. Doesn't it look as though the bottle holds a least 10 times the volume indicated on the outside!

Hope you make it to the footy in a healthy state. Which game are you going to?

I hope you were able to get in some quilting - and that your son is feeling better. What we mother's have to deal with! But we do it with love and caring.

Tracy -- Sorry to hear about your bad day, and I hope your son is feeling better. But, you are not alone. I was working on a gift for the Secret Santa group and had to rip out several seams because I misread the pattern. (I hate it when I do that) As I was ripping the last one, my cat jumped up on my knee, bumped my arm and the seam ripper ripped the fabric instead of the seam, and then stabbed me. Of course, there was blood on the fabric and I don't have more to replace it. Think I'll start over and use the messed up one as a prototype.

Although we are almost in summer, it is also cold here....9 degrees this morning...20 degrees below normal for this time of year! Brrr!

Thanks everyone, it made me feel better I am not the only one having a bad day. Milk smells so bad after cleaning up. I just threw a towel on it, cleaned it and it went in the bin. lol. I still have him home today but he is a lot better. Thankfully the throwing up didn't last for long. He will be back to school tomorrow.

We are going to see Richmond vs The Suns. My husband loves Richmond even though they lose the most the time. lol. Buts its all about supporting your team isn't it.

StationaryMom:- Here is a link to the footy page, it has a few video's on it of the game. Its full name is the AFL :- Australian Football League . The official website of the Australian Football League - AFL.com.au

Its huge down here in Victoria, The other state I used to live in Queensland, they love Rugby up there.

Just got back from grocery shopping. I dragged my son along, at the end he got to choose 1 chocolate bar so he was good. Now I have to put the shopping all away then it will be time for school run. My husband is on a 4 days break after today, Can't wait to have him home. Can get a bit lonely as he is away 12 hours a day at work and that is traveling too. He is starting a new job next week that is half the distance to get to and the same hours each day so he will be home at 6pm for dinner each night. Going to take a bit of pressure off of me too looking after 3 children.
