Does M* provide the sewing machines, or do you each have to take your own?

I think MSQC provided the machines for a small fee ....( I think the fee was $10 ) I was going to go, but didn't get signed up in time, that why I remember the part about the sewing machines etc. )

I love it when we get a virtual tour of the goings on for those that can't be there. I would love to just spend a day cough week wondering around their shops

They are laminated. I don't think the ladies are having any trouble rolling the chairs over them. I don't have my chair with me and the MO* chairs are just sitting chair not rolling chairs.

Actually, they are walnut, not laminate. Some of us bring chairs from home.
