Oh Linda - so sorry to hear you broke your wrist. No - not a wimp, just a hurtin' wrist.

    Hugs,

I too broke my wrist on Halloween 2009. Take really good care of it and so sorry you are having to go through the pain.

I fell near the swimming pool on the 3rd March. Broke my right wrist too. It's still no fun I can tell you. Have to go to the therapist 3x a week as I have an algoneurodystrophy. Hope that's how you spell it. I have a picture in one of my albums of the metall they put in my arm.
Move your hand when ever you're able to. That sure helped me a lot.
Wish you all the very very very best with your hand ..........and you're not a whimp because it hurts!!!!!!

Linda, So sorry to hear you broke your wrist. That's double bad news for a quilter. I empathize with you...last year I had to have shoulder surgery and my back was broken in two places. Take good care of yourself and I wish you a complete and speedy recovery....Barb

    MMMMMMMMMMoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I got to sleep to a mild thunderstorm last night - every time I rolled over I could hear thunder!! I really was hoping that I'd wake to a nice gentle rain (which we really need), but all we got was a drizzle - just enough to wet the deck. I hope the winds change and move the skies back over us so they can really open up. We do need the rain.

I'm sorry that Cathy had to be up and at'em so early. It probably won't be a pleasant day for her unless she has a good safe place for little Em to lay back down and sleep. I'm wishing them well.

Shirley, I'm with you - gotta find something to do indoors (as if that would take a lot of searching) because the temps have been really hard to deal with. I don't remember, as a younger person, being so drained if I had to be outside for a while. But, I can go out, get in an air-conditioned vehicle, drive to an air-conditioned store, come home and into an air-conditioned house and be drained for the rest of the day. Bette Davis - Here's to you!! Growing old ain't for sissies!!

Blondie, I wish you well with canning - never thought about doing sauces in the crock pot. My dad used to make the absolute best chili sauce but no one knows what happened to his recipe. Do you make chow-chow, too?

Have a great day, all our buddies here!!

It's trying to rain here (PA) but I think it will be sporadic. We have no a/c in the sanctuary at church so they met in the fellowship hall. I went in the back and saw no one in the nursery so I got to spend the time with a little 4 year old - smart as a whip.

I'm sewing a binding on a quilt today. It's nice to have something ready to work on when a good movie comes on. Tomorrow I head to Lancaster to quilty shop around with a friend. Don't need anything since the last time I went, but they could have gotten something new in I didn't see.

Stay cool for those of you in the HOT areas. And warm for those of you in the COLD areas.

    Hugs,

    Super Sunday to you!

    Have a great day!
Mine will start early. I have to be up at 3:30 so I can milk and get farm chores done before I head out to teach at a training this morning. I get to take Emily with me since Eric has a shooting-match thing today. This ought to be fun.

I'll probably not catch up with you all until late in the day, so I wanted to wish you a good one!
