    Sunny Saturday

    Morning All!
It looks like it will be a nice sunny day here. Perfect for ripping the old trim off of the house. It is my husband's mission over the next week to re-paint the exterior of the house. We start today.

I have to take the new cutting mat back to the store. It is the wrong size.(24x36") I need one that is 30x36" I'm not sure they make one anymore. I may have to bite the bullet and buy the 36x70 that will cover the entire top of the cutting table. I like the half size because the table folds in half. Not sure what to do with the rest of the mat if I need to fold down the table. Arrgh!

I had best get my chores done so I can get on with the house project.
You all have a great day!
    Hugs, Cathy

You could cut it in half and use both sides if you're careful with how you adhere it. I did that with mine and it works great

Yes, I did that with one I had that broke from being folded and left behind a door.(thanks kids) I bought the small white table from Sam's that folds in half. Perfect fit

        A reason to celebrate !
Today is very special to my husband & me. It's our 45th anniversary ! We were so blessed to find each other. He is from New York & I from Massachusetts yet God drew our paths together. We raised 3 responsible, loving children & have 6 precious grandkids. We are so impressed each year when all of the states have parades & firework displays in our honor ! Ha-ha-ha .

            Re: Sunny Saturday

last tuesday i had cataract surgery. it did not go very well. i can not see with my left eye other than light and shape. the dr said to be patient and wait a week to see if it heals more before he can look at it. i did not want to have the surgery but everyone encouraged me that i would be able to see so much better so i did......screwed up again by not trusting my own instincts!
i am stuck doing much of nothing this weekend since i can't drive, read, sew, play in my jewelry, watch tv or go to the race...... even getting on the computer is straining my eyes and so only for a minute or two.

have a great weekend everyone and know i am thinking about all the wonderful fun sewing projects you are working on!

suzi i hope things improve for you. i know it's frustrating to be unable to do the things you like. i don't know a lot about cataracts except that it did make a big difference for my mom when she had it done. i pray your situation will improve also.

Beautiful Sunday all! Suzi, sorry to hear your surgery did not go well. Would covering the bad eye when you want to do something help? You would only be seeing with the good eye and not have the distracting 'bad' vision? My prayers that it heals completely and quickly for you!
I am trying to get a few things done. It's been a very very busy couple of weeks and I am in need of a sewing fix, that's for sure.
