Where, or where is this year going? I have heard all my life that time passes faster as you age. I just wish I wasn't this old! I do remember when I was a child that I could hardly wait for summer to d--r--a--g-- by so I could go back to school. Don't get me wrong, I loved my time off, but I loved being in school a bit more. In fact, because I raised such a fit when my brother went to school, the teacher and Mom and Dad concurred I was ready at 4 years of age and I started walking to our little one-roomed schoolhouse with the big kids. I did love school.
I am having one of those decision making crises today. I'm torn between what I want to do (go back to bed and nap, if I am honest), to what really needs to be done (a quick clean up in the kitchen, dining room, and living room), to what Al wants done (make him some biscotti), to what I should be doing (outside pulling weeds and cleaning around the pool area), to what I would rather have energy to be doing (sewing my #[email protected]#%$^% BOM block). So, if I sit here for a while goofing off you will all understand.
And, to explain my profanity - I never want to see another quilt block with more than 12 pieces!!!!!!!!!! The current BOM has 36!!! It is driving me NUTS.
I hope everyone is doing GREAT today. I'm sending hugs.
