Good morning everyone. Blondie where are you? I hope everything is ok!

I finished the baby quilt yesterday, just need to attach the binding. I am not sure what the next project will be or what today will bring.

Morning All!

Last night around 11:30 I'm rushing around the house in the dark (as I often do) closing windows as the t-storm blows in and .....WHAM!....I walk right into the corner wall of the closet in our bedroom. Boy that hurt. Instant goose egg. So I get the rest of the windows down and go back to bed with an ice pack for my face and this morning, at age 57, I'm sporting my first black eye.....SHEESH! Well, the day can only get better, right!? Say yes!

Today after work I'm going to my LQS where my new quilty friend Sarah is going to show me how to "tie" the fleece bday quilt for my son. Then it will finally be all done. YAY!

Getting very concerned about Blondie... anyone heard anything?

Finished my fourth QFK quilt last night, so now I'm without a project. I'm going to try to put leftover pieces of batting together so that they can be used, and order another QFK kit.

Hot hot hot here today, we're supposed to get to 99, which is very high for us, especially in June. Oh well, in NJ you're almost always hiding from the weather, give me Spring and Fall!

Good morning all!
HOT here again today. Geesh - Nancy - when you said WHAM!, that one hurt me! Hang up a string of some white Christmas lights for a night light (we do all year long over the doorway and it is just like a nice, soft nightlight). I hope it feels better as the day goes on.

I got half of the 1st baby quilt machine quilted last night before I took a visit with a neighbor's child who comes over almost daily to chat and a phone call from my BFF.

It really is too HOT to walk today - even this morning, the humidity has set in so high that it would only take to walk out the door before the sweat starts running. It's to cool off tomorrow some so think I'll add an extra block or two to walk down then.

I did email Blondie, but haven't heard anything. I do hope everything is ok. She's been off for a few days so I am getting concerned too. I think she has days where she gets so busy with her mom and her job and all, but still - - - .
And you are out of projects? OH MY! I could send you a few of mine!

Well, hope everyone has a good day - and stay out of the heat if you are getting it if you can help it.

Just read and responded to post about Blondie. Lots of folks were missing her and hope she is on the mend very soon. Nancy...so sorry to hear about your mishap. That must have hurt a lot. Take care of yourself.....We forget we don't bounce back as quickly as we used to!

Sorry to hear about all of the heat. Should be decent here today. No rain predicted!
I did get the pieces of batting stitched together last night, so perhaps I'll have time to fuse the layers together today. This "guinea pig" quilt has led me to decide that I may never use this batting for anything other than small crafty projects. That is the point of trial and error though right? I will at least have a gift to show for it when I am done. The recipient won't know the difference, and I can certainly use the knowledge elsewhere!
Off to do morning milking chores and get Em to her speech appointments! One more week of school. Where DID the year go?

Nancy I bet that did hurt. Yes today will be a better day. Hopefully it will rain soon here. It's suppose to be another hot one. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Oh yeah and Thank Goodness it is Thursday. I didn't think it would every get here. I have to go buy a wedding gift tonight after work for this weekend, Hubby has a meeting tonight so hopefully some quality time for me. Sewing machine here I come be ready.

My head is hurting for Nancy! The last time I ran into a door in the middle of the darkest part of the night my stomach hit the door before my head - guess that 'stress belly fat' is good for something.

I am so enjoying today - last night we were up late with the DGDs swim meet - and today we lucked out with some much needed gentle rain. I was going to take the girls to swim practice but rules say if there's thunder and lightening the practice is cancelled. Since they didn't get to bed until 11 p.m. yesterday I am saying prayers were answered. There's no way these little ones need to be on the go again so early.

Doors and windows are open - it's a tad humid, but since we've had several 95 degree plus days in a row this 70's weather seems heavenly.

Issuing prayers for Blondie! Get Well Quick!!

I can't win for losing lately. Burned my arm on the oven rack almost 2 weeks ago and It still hasn''t healed.Gonna leave a nasty scare on my arm. I have been busy running around doing yard sale stuff. First day today and we made almost $700.00 for our trip Saturday woo hoo!! Gonna be a good time. I am taking some of my old albums and so is my sister this will be a blast. One more day of yard sale and then we head out Sat.
