I hope you're not getting tired of hearing about this rollercoaster my family is on. DD Bethany got a call just now from C's social worker. We had been told a decision about C's custody would be decided by the end of this week. Now it is at the end of next week instead. BUT, they did tell B to stop C's transition to his Grammie Sue's house for now. That's a good sign in our favor. We feel like the state is making this as drawn-out and painful as possible. Please continue to pray for us, but especially for our precious little boy. May God's will be done.

Re: Possibly Hopeful Adoption News
I am hopeful that the State is seeing that they need to keep C's Best Interest in mind! We're all continuing to keep C and all of you and your family in our prayers and thoughts. We will not get tired of what you are going through, this is something you should not have to go through alone (((Cyndi)))!

Re: Possibly Hopeful Adoption News
Prayers from here. May God's will be done for the best for this small child and all involved. May He comfort those that have a loss, because someone will have to give up custody here. If this is the next child for your family, may it all work out peacefully and soon. This heartbreak is what keeps me from being a foster mom! ....that and age!

Re: Possibly Hopeful Adoption News
Cyndi,
Please don't think that we would get tired of hearing about what is going on. I for one think of you and your family each day; wondering what is going on, wondering if you have had a call and what the effect of the call may be having upon each of you. Please know that we care and I, for one, feel honored that you have shared so much of yourself with us. You and your family are in my prayers, each and every day.May your day be blessed. :icon_wave:

Re: Possibly Hopeful Adoption News
Cyndi........this does sound encouraging. Are the social workers aware of the changes in C while he is at the grandmothers? Hoping and praying the very best outcome for C and your family.........you'll & C have been through so much. Hugs to all of you. Re: Possibly Hopeful Adoption News
OMIGOSH! I sure hope you mean that he will stay with your DD for now? That HAS to be good news in her favour? Please do not stop updating us! I hope with every fibre of my being that he gets to remain with your family...this is such a good sign I think! And I think having him stay with your family with gramma involved would really be the very best for this little man. Let's hope for ONCE that the state institutions do the right thing!

Re: Possibly Hopeful Adoption News
I really hope they put the child's best interests first! I can only speak for myself but I am NOT tired of hearing about this - I'm on the edge of the seat, pulling-my-hair-out nervous. I hope hope hope this gets resolved soon and in your (and the child's!) favour.
