Anyway, I finally got to see my sweet Dr. Betsy today... She believes I have neurogenic hypertension, which is kind if rare, but happens.

It is caused by an over stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system... It seems that the shock of losing Earl has caused my body to react to the turmoil within it this way,,,, even when I feel calm, my body is not..... I never feel any symptoms when my BP shoots up....unless I am crying......

Luckily, there is a medicine just for this condition... Clinicians HLC. I will take it twice a day, along with my Diovan, Ativan, and my usual beta blocker... If my BO gets too low, the Diovan will go.....

I'm so happy to know the reason for my erratic BP....especially the high numbers......and that this condition can be treated.

And, Dr. Betsy has given me to he go ahead to walk and swim again,,..

So you haven't got all the disorders you found on the internet then? Glad to hear you've got a name for it and some treatment.

I was worried, too..... I've had one heart attack, and five stents..... And a family history of stroke....
