Keukenhof- Like nothing I've ever seen before!!!

A friend who lived over here as an expat told us to hurry up and go to Keukenhof so we wouldn't miss the tulips. It was raining this morning but we put on our rain gear and headed out the door. It's about an hour's drive from Baarn to Lisse. I took close to 270 pictures while we were there. What a magnificent place. We have a large tulip area to the north of us.....hopefully when I am on vacation, at least I and maybe Monkey Man, will make it up there. The daffodils are already blooming and the tulips are just starting to open, so I timed my time off well.

We should get together some day, I think you live right in the middle now between Lenie and I....My sister lives in Hilversum, so that is very close to you!!

Gorgeous! I love spring flowers. I've been out today cleaning up my flower bed....now I can see the flowers. The crocuses are blooming and the daffodils are almost ready to bloom, I think it will be a bit before my tulips bloom.
