This is beautiful! That kid has a wonderful heart, and his dad is clearly raising him right.

But Marilyn, you need to issue a "tissue alert" before I read these!!

I'm with Sally, that made me cry, I felt so proud of that sweet young man, and so sad at the loss of his momma. What a cool gift for that nurse, to see that once, tiny little infant struggling to hang onto life, now so vibrant, sweet and good.

This was an amazing story !! What a brilliant kid. His Father is so right to be proud, and his Mother would be smiling down on him. Such a sad yet uplifting story.

Wonderful story and his mom and dad have very good reason to be proud of him.

I'm going to forward it to a friend who told me she hasn't been quilting for quite awhile as there have been no new births in the family and everyone has a quilt or two, She can make many mini quilts from her stash for local hospitals NICU's.
