    An Unexpected Furry Visitor

    I let my old guys outside this afternoon and look what I saw on our deck railing! It got up to 54* here in Southwest Michigan today.

      YEA!!! I used to love to find those as a child and would let them crawl up my arm, delighted with the little tickle. . . until they pooped on me.

            Wooly worms are winter weather predictors. I hope he's not already here to let us know how bad next winter will be. I saw more wooly worms this past summer (and more solid white ones) than I've ever seen and this winter has been a rough one.

              I know! I don't think in all my years I've ever seen one with snow still on the ground!!! We still have about 6" of melting snow .
