    Sunday, Sunday

Just exactly how I feel today.

Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on a human energy charger? AC/DC - doesn't matter.

    Re: Sunday, Sunday

right there with you, Sandy, wishing I could spend the day in bed. Sadly, I've got things happening all day. Church at nine, visiting a friend at 1, picking my nephew up from work at 3, and DH wants artichokes for dinner. Which means I have to make dinner. When is nap time? When is ME time? And where the heck did the weekend go?
If you can't see it from 50 yards away on a galloping horse, it doesn't matter.

I wish there was a way to recharge just by plugging something in - I could get so much more stuff done!

One of the things that recharges me is to play with kids - I mean really play - dance with them, swing them around, play what they are playing. It totally takes me away from myself - something about their giggles just resets me somehow. My niece and nephew came out to the bowling alley last night (as well as their parents) and my nephew was having so much fun running with the other kids and my niece had the giggles every time I had her - we danced, we twirled, etc. I was so tired before they got there, but I got a second wind as soon as they got there.

Other things that recharge me are a quiet house, time to myself, time in my sewing room, learning something new.......

I am glad to be getting out and about. Cabin fever here and I'm so darn restless.. Like a caged animal. Having lunch with the "other" MIL as it is her birthday!! I wish I could box up some of my energy and send it to ya, Sandy. But then I'd be looking for some to get thru the day.. Sorry!

Getting out in the sun recharges me. Today it's rest day for the most part. Maybe will do some sewing later. At noon it's the start of the Daytona 500 so I will be glued to the TV.

That's my motto and I'm stickin' to it! It's gonna be grey day here and I've got so much to do it's not funny. Winter break all last week did nothing for the condition of my house and it's drivin' me nuts! (and it doesn't have too far to go!)

I lazed around most of the day yesterday. So I got up early, and before my energy wore off, I bound my Xs and Os quilt. Now I'm trying to figure out how to lay out my Sochi Inspired quilt.

No sun here today to recharge the batteries. Guess I have to rely on caffeine and sugar!

Wouldn't that be a great item to find. I could use a good charge. I'll probably not get to much done today. I do need to do some laundry and will probably sew some while I'm working on that.

                    Re: Sunday, Sunday

I had cabin fever too and since yesterday was a warmish sunny day yesterday I had no problem attending our Pillowcase Sew In at our guild. Was surprised that a few guild members showed up in addition of our pillowcase team, guess they had cabin fever too.

Since snow is predicted on Tuesday and Wednesday DH and I going out for the afternoon while the going is good. Wanted to visit my sisters in Brooklyn but there is no place to park as there is still lots of snow piled up along the curbs. We'll might go to IKEA to shop a bit and have some Swedish Meatballs for lunch. No problem as I don't have to cook today.

I have some energy this morning. Don't know how long it will last though. I was up at 5:30 -- took the granddog out, made myself a cup of tea and then I headed back upstairs and read for a while. Wound up dozing off for a bit but was back up before 8. I've got my cheese filling all mixed up and ready to go into the shells (stuffed shells for dinner) and then I may bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies and then finish the binding on the tablerunner I did yesterday. I am not sure what else I will work on today -- maybe I'll just sit at my frame and work on finishing my Feb. UFO while watching tv with dh. (as long as he is not watching something too "action-packed")

May, you are so right about the parking in Brooklyn. I went in yesterday to pick up my son and Booda and luckily I got a spot across the street from the house. But there are still a lot of snow piles. And on top of that, Con Ed was working on the block so they were taking up a lot of parking spaces with their trucks.

Well, I'd better get going before my energy leaves me. Have a wonderful day everyone.

                        Hi Everyone,

It was a warm day here yesterday. We worked in Cuba all day getting two units ready to rent. I got one done but we have to repaint the other and replace some damaged doors and carpet. It's cold and windy today and the forecast for the next week is not encouraging.

I've been making applesauce all day. The house smells wonderful. Don't ask me why, I just got a wild hair. We are really low on the last batch and I hate to run out. I think this is the first time the Girls ever smelled applesauce cooking. I gave them a taste and they cried for more.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

Rain in the forecast later this week! Just praying we get that much needed water level up. Homemade applesauce sounds wonderful. My husband's grandma used to make the most delicious chunky applesauce. We've got the recipe but we've only made it once when we first married. Apples by the bushel were cheap in Pennsylvania. We made lots of jars of it and canned it as she used to do. With the price of apples these days I don't think we'll ever make it again. Too bad.

Awe hun. I wish there were anything I could do to get your energy up. I think you just need a break from all the hustle and bustle that your house is in. Why don't you and Al, go out for the day. Take in a movie, go out to eat. Walk around a park, go to a museum. In other words...go do something to get you out of the house, and the craziness it sometimes is. Before you go, leave a list of chores you want finished before you get home.
