Hello again, dear Quilty Friends!

Today the temperature here in central Connecticut is climbing up to 50 degrees!! So thankful for the thaw! I know we are all thankful that HandsomeRyan's "Mini Cooper" (just love that moniker - so cute!) is home where he belongs. I'm also thankful that the days are so much longer now than they were just a short time ago - although I know that is not the case for our Aussie and Kiwi friends.

It's the same here in Cincinnati, but the cold will be returning....after a round of severe storms..... Not my favorite...

Rain, Snow and Ice (including thunder storm supposedly tonight) all in one day today. This is melting our snow and I have 3 feet of standing snow in my yard, so flooding is definitely going to happen. But hopefully, it will take down the snow piles along my driveway. I can barely see over them as I walk to my van or to pull out of the drive. Tomorrow is back to snow and temps in the teens and low twenties again for the next 10 days. If you have Spring where you are, PLEASE send a little to Michigan! Last I heard we are up to over 120" of snow this season and counting. According the the Weather people, we have at lease another 3 weeks of this white crap to go. Also, if anyone wants some, I have all you can haul available for free. Just come and get it!

I removed a ton of ice from my deck today, while wearing a hooded sweatshirt. WOOHOO!
An early tease for sure, but a needed break!

I, too, am thankful for a spell of warmer weather. Our severe storms should be moving through any time between now and midnight if the weather person is to be believed. Can I throw in I'm grateful to have a basement to go hide in if necessary?

Also, I'm for a pharmacists who makes suggestions like adding a few drops of chocolate syrup to a NASTY liquid antibiotic for my 6 year-old son. It's important he gets those meds to get over this pneumonia and if a tiny bit of Hershey's helps then so be it. I asked the pharmacist if he was related to Mary Poppins
