We are having a local school contest "School Cribs". The school with the most votes wins. What makes this so special is our principal's husband is principal at one of the other schools and we compete with them all the time--friendly competition that is.
So please vote for EISENHOWER!!!! Vote often--the contest goes on until May 23.

I voted for you! I do have a question though. Who would think up a name of Slaughter Elementary School? I'd be afraid to send my kiddos there!

Thanks Trish--Never thought about the name sounding strange. LOL! Most of out schools are named after individuals--that one was named after a principal. This is even stranger. We have two schools with basically the same name:
Cochran
Cochrane
If you teach at one you have to say: with the e or without the e. Go figure.

A crib is slang for your residence or home.

Example: What did you do last night?
I just hung out at my crib.
So the contest is geared what makes your school cool.
