I'm still alive and kicking....

....and screaming and whatever else I need to do to get through each day. I just haven't been on here much lately. I do come in and read a few posts now and then but haven't done much posting.

I know when spring gets here....and I know it eventually will I will start to feel better about things. Marriage is still very rocky but we are working on it. One day at a time.

I saw Geese flying north yesterday....a sure sign Spring is just around the corner. And even heard a bird chirping away outside my bedroom window a couple days ago. What a wonderful sound that was. This time of year I am so use to only hearing the crows. Love the sound of the birds when they first start chirping in the Spring.

Although I haven't been quilting because my sewing room isn't heated.. I have been doing some design ideas in my head for a few wall-hangings. Now I just need to get my drawing pad out and get my ideas on paper. Looking forward to being at my sewing machine again...once it is warm enough to be in that room.

Hey Donna, Glad you posted today as I've been worried about you up on that mountain, thought you might be snowed in for the duration. Happy to see you here and that you've heard some bird's chirping away as we all could use some signs that Spring will be here soon. I think that we're all ready for spring! Do get that sketch pad out and put those ideas down...you'll get some cheer from that.

Glad you posted Donna!! Hope things work out for you and the Hubby. So, they say, Spring is soon around the corner!! I hope it is soon. I think everyone is getting cabin fever. Especially, when it is daylight and the sun doesn't come out. It is so depressing. Keep your chin up and keep on smiling. I was always told to just smile and nod. lol Take care!!!

Donna...been mia myself too...but have been back for a few weeks. So sorry to hear marriage life is rocky...which ever way it goes, rest assured that all will be alright. Been thru that myself and quite honestly divorce was the answer to my marriage and it was the best thing ever...for had I not gotten divorced I never would have met and married the most wonderful man. It's not to say that all marriages should end that way, but sometimes it is a blessing. Hope that you find resolve in all the rockiness. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
So looking forward to Spring! I am sick of dreary days without any color, only gray, black and white...agghhhh!
We bought a propane heater from Lowes to put in our 4 seasons room...it does a great job heating the room. Cost about $300. Well worth the money. Just a thought for you to consider...

This is the first I've heard of your troubles, Donna. I wasn't spending much time on here for a number of months so I didn't realize you and your husband were having problems. I sure hope you get it worked out. I'll be thinking about you.

Donna, so very glad to hear from you. I have been terribly worried about you, with all that you are going through. I hope it all works out, but you will survive if it doesn't. I really dislike you being on that mountain, with all the mental angst you are being put through. If you ever wanna talk...just PM, and I will get with you as soon as I can. I have been seeing robins in the yard, so I know spring is soon to arrive. Hang in there hun, and know you ARE being prayed for, and thought greatly about. Remember you are more than the sum of your parts, and are loved just because you are you.

Donna great hearing from you here. Hang in there things will work out. It must get lonely up there with no one to chat with. I would go stir crazy if I couldn't get to work and chat with people other then family. That maybe an answer for you a part time job to get you out of the house and make him appreciate you more.
