Today is the happening day. Happy Valentine's Day to you all.

This morning I will sit with my friend's husband. Tonight we are having dinner with friends. It looks like Sunday we are going to the races with other friends. So it will be a busy weekend for sure. I don't think I will get much sewing done in the next few days.

Today is my dear daughter-in-law's birthday and my great nephew who turns 3 today.

Wishing everyone a sweet Valentine's Day. Dottie decided we should get up earlier than usual today so we've been up since 3:30. That's our Girl.

Jeff and I exchanged valentines and he gave me a huge box of chocolates and some chocolate dipped strawberries. Yesterday I got roses. It's been a good two days!

I went to the doctor yesterday and she prescribed Levaquin for me. For sure this will knock the infection out of me. if I'm not dramatically better Monday she wants me to go back to see her. I'm sure the antibiotic will do the trick.

Isn't Ryan and Tabitha's baby adorable! I hope he gets to come home soon.

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Friday! I gave my valentine his card last night, yet to see if he gives me one...he's not good with special occasions, especially those that involve gifts or cards. I guess I'm getting used to it after almost 42 years of marriage.
I'm still so stiff and sore that I can barely walk this morning. I must be getting too old (or too sedentary) for a full day of walking. I need to work on that when the weather is warmer. We're expecting snow later today...oh joy! But for now,the sun is shining brightly in the east and it's a beautiful morning!

Good morning everyone! Happy Valentines Day!!i stayed up late watching the Olympics...so I am dragging this morning. Unfortunately our local news here gives updates and has spoiled one event for today for me! Boogers! USA hockey squares off against Russia this morning think....gonna try to avoid any news of that today!

Ryan and Tabatha did some great work!! He is beautiful!! Brings back fond memories of when mine were born!

Off to work for me...still trying to find the cost issues at another location. I spent Wednesday downloading 3 months of invoices and putting them into a spreadsheet. I have another 3 months to do today.....my eyes will be tired!

Everyone have a great day...I hope all of you suffering from the storm thaw out soon! We have 60 forecast for tomorrow here!! I can't wait!

Morning all! So glad this is Friday and so glad all the snow is melting. I also so glad that spring is around the corner; I am not a winter person.
Three days off over the weekend and hopes to get caught up around the house and hit the sewing room. Happy Valentine's Day to all and hope you have a great one.

Today is Friday, for sure. The end of my weekend and beginning of another work week. Kind of like everyone else's Sunday night.

My sweet son (16 yo) is going to take me to lunch when he gets out of school!

Going to the new house in a little bit to see what little bit I can do today. My Dining room floor was installed last night - and it is crooked. Nothing can be done about it and no, I have no recourse. The old saying "you get what you paid for" certainly applies here. Oh well, hopefully when the furniture is in it won't be as noticeable. I also got another surprise when he pulled up the ramp leading from the lower level family room tot he dining room. (The previous owner was in a wheelchair so a ramp had been installed. I left it until we get the furniture moved in and are ready to put down laminate floors in the family room.) Under the ramp - a concrete semi-circular step. How do you transition that between the two floors?

Glad to hear little Sawyer made his appearance - even if it was in a blizzard. Everyone else stay warm and check in to let us know you made it through this round safely.

I'm tired, barely slept last night...excited about my trip I guess but anxious as well. Weather systems all around are causing delays so fingers crossed my flight is on time and not bumpy! I am not a fan of flying! I have to work today too but will leave early to be sure I can get to the airport in Toronto on time. Driving into Toronto during rush hour should be fun! ACK!

Hoping everyone has a fantastic Valentine's Day. Got some good news. One of my brother's is in the area and will be spending tonight and tomorrow with us. Haven't seen him in a couple of years. He had forgotten it was Valentine's Day and apologized and we told him we were staying home anyway. DH and I do not like crowds and with it be Friday and Valentine's Day it would be really crowded so we are staying in and ordering a heart shaped pizza! He travels a lot with his job and his wife is used to him missing special occasions.

Happy Valentines Day and TGIF!
Valentines day makes me think of my maternal grandfather that I never got to meet. His birthday was on Valentines Day. He also divorced my maternal grandmother and married my step-grandmother who's birthday was also on Valentine's Day. Now two people meet and fall in love and both of their birthday's are on Valentines Day. That was just meant to be.
Sawyer is just a gorgeous baby boy isn't he!

It's Me!! almost noon here and I had a great sleep...after being up most of the night.
And it steadily snowing.. got about 3 inches on the ground and more just keeps coming down. (central Illinois)

Just getting caught up on all the news here with everyone.. off to make a pot of soup.. it's just that kind of day.
