    Appology to the Forum

I responded to a post in the wee hours of the morning, and said something I should not have said. Calling any one a 'name' or generalizing a 'group' of people was wrong, and I am sorry.
I am just so frustrated over what has happened to our once 'all loving' forum in the past several months. What once was a place of peace and solitude for so many, has become something different. We don't want it to be a backbiting, better than thou forum, like so many of the others. This 'forum' is so much better than that, and I pray that it gets back to what it once was, not all that long ago.

It takes a lot of guts to apologize, you did it!

We all say things sometimes when we are "heated", that we don't mean. It's Okay, you saw the mistake and corrected it.

As much as you found the courage to apologize, I'm pretty sure, people will find the love to forgive.

Sometimes it takes a storm to clear the air, so that we can, even more so enjoy the sun.

Thanks for saying that to us, Marilyn. Your apology is accepted by me. Self evaluation and admitting errors in judgement is difficult, I appreciate that you wrote to us.

It takes a big person to admit they have made an error. You done that . Apology accepted. You get a great appreciation from me for doing that and also for being who you are don't change.

Oh dear... this is certainly coming from the heart and it is surly felt by many. Though for me to stay out of complications that arise from more of the conversational threads I tend to do my best to spend more of my time in the show and tell part of the forum. But boy I do miss some of the honest, sweet, heartfelt, endearing and fun conversations we would have. But I got tired of the chaos that would sometimes come up unnecessarily because messages were more often than not misconstrued. However from time to time I do wander back to the conversational threads and on a good note it does seem like the forum is trying more to be positive. I feel like there is an obvious effort and as long as this threads message is taken as the honest message that you intended it too we can all be in a good spot. (((Marilyn)))

Marilyn,, thank you for being YOU which means honest and giving... the PICU group, which has done so many wonderful things... and your many positive comments to others, Things change and that's the way it is... I agree with Jess... and have found so much more time to quilt for charity and just plain enjoyment by not reading every post,, I have a tendency to "babble" and get caught up in the moment, and want to be helpful... but that all takes time, and I was at the computer more than in the sewing room...LOL
Hugs to you all!! Babara/aka GrammaBabs

thank you ma'am and there a lot of us guilty of 'typing' something we probably shouldn't have or maybe should have re-read before clicking post. Smile

My time on the forum has been limited lately so I'm not sure what you're referring to but that doesn't matter......that was thoughtful to post an apology once you realized that it might have been misappropriate or taken the wrong way. We are all only human and to be part of a huge diverse group takes people that can understand that we all are humans and have various emotions, thoughts, ideas, perspectives, and are going through different things in our lives that may affect our posts.

Thank you every one. There are 3 things that I consider to be big on me. My heart, my mouth, and my behind. One of them I am working on shrinking, and it is not the first two

Thanks Marilyn. You've gone a long way in restoring my faith in this forum. And you are setting a wonderful example for all of us Newbies who need to know how to make things right when we goof up in the future - as we will - or I will for sure anyway. Thanks so much!
