We have been drier than a popcorn f*rt here on the Central Coast of California and the entire state is in an emergency drought. It is finally raining and it is a such nice steady little rain; we are soaking it up! Hopefully this isn't just a teaser, but will be repeated again and again in the upcoming weeks.

Great news! It's hard to imagine that you're having such an awful drought in CA and many of us are buried in snow. If I could package this stuff, I'd send it to you! Wishing for a nice steady little rain for you each day and rebuild those water supplies.

Well that is good news, and finally someone who is happy with their weather.

You know today I can't complain as we were forecasted to have snow or rain today but it was a sunny 58 degrees - such a drastic change from the freezing weather we've had.

Hallelujah - we Traded! It was supposed to be really cold here and it is mild - and no snow in sight for a few days! Guess Prayer works - who knew. (tongue in cheek). So very happy for you!

I've been watching the news about the drought in California and I'm happy to hear that you are getting some relief. I do hope and pray that you keep getting rain for a while.

That's great news. I remember a drought several years ago when my aunt lived in San Diego. The fires were terrible. She slept with her insurance papers. Things we on the East Coast would never appreciate. Shoveling snow beats losing your house to a fire any day. Best wishes.

Megan, so glad to hear. I just saw on the news where they were talking with wineries about how bad it is. I would gladly give up some of our moisture. We apparently have more coming this week.

Lucky you. Our rain lasted for 30 seconds and made a few spots on the glass roof.

Still at least its no longer 110f - just 90-95f instead

Well, we got an inch - Yay! However, we have no snow pack and crops may not be planted if we don't get more. The state of California feeds the nation; if we don't get rain prices of veggies and beef are going to sky rocket. Pray for rain; send us your melted snow; do a rain dance for us PLEASE!
