We got some snow this morning and it was really pretty. DH was going to go to WalMart this morning and it was still dark out. I was out in my sewing room working on my quilt and I heard a door close, he was back. He said "I'll wait until daylight I can't see the road and when I finally did see some pavement I was in the wrong lane". I asked him if he followed his tracks back when he turned around.
I would love another snow day!
Shirleyaka buckeyequilter I work to support a sewing habit that I don't have time for, because I work!
Gees does this mean we will get another snow day?
I really hope not.
Where I live, we don't even call that stuff snow.......it's more like snow dust! We just had our plows here this morning to get us unburied from the 9" of snow and wind Friday night. Needless to say, I'm sick of winter!
The bad thing about snow days is that they never allow for enough so the make up days get added on at the end of the year and cut into your summer.
No snow here, a little chilly, but not too bad. I know we could use the moisture, but I'd rather get rain than snow.
Yea that's what I'm talking about. I don't want to give up summer days for this crap!!!
Yea they just called school off. It is mostly ice not snow but calling for more snow tonight. Funny thing is it was 63 Saturday!!! Wow this crazy weather..It is 30 degrees right now....
The weather channel is showing 100% chance of us getting 4 to 8 inches of snow Tuesday. No chance of snow tomorrow so I'm going to make my 45 mile (each way) trip to stock up on my embroidery supplies that's shrinking fast.
Yikes, 58 here today and most of the snow on our lawn and shed melted away but beginning tonight at midnight we're supposed to get the first of 6" of snow. I guess old Pete did see his shadow afterall.
We are suppose to get snow on Tuesday which is fine but I'm really hoping the roads are clear on Wednesday as we have to go to the city. I generally don't mind snow days as I like to spend the time quilting, I just don't like the bitter cold or driving in it.
