I learned something interesting.....

Where I live, there is a group that gets together for the Chinese New Year and blows several hundred glass balls which they then hide in public places for people to find. I am lucky to have gotten one the year of the pig. Anyway, yesterday was Chinese New Year, and the Monkeyshines group made and hid them again, this time for the year of the horse.

This started a conversation at work this morning and one gal looked up to see what animal she is. I had her check mine because I could not remember if I was a Rooster or my husband is. Turns out, I am the rooster, and grab ahold of your hats.......he is a monkey!!!! I just thought it was funny, and oh so fitting!

I'm a rooster too! But that's really funny he is a monkey. A match made in Chinese heaven.

They have a wonderful event on Oahu, but I never did go. Maybe when you come over !
