    Happy Friday!

Good morning to all! It's Friday, my short day at work (just work till 2:30) and I just saw a Goldfinch on my thistle feeder. The day is off to a good start! Hope everyone's day Rocks!

    Re: Happy Friday!

Well it is Friday at last. Where has the week gone. Did not get a lot done this week. Needing a baby fix but will wait until Mother's Day. Hubby and I do have to attend a funeral today for friends who lost their son in a terrible car accident last week. So sad. Parents should not have to bury their children.

On a happier note, we are joining friends for Easter dinner on Sunday. Looking forward to that. Hubby leaves for the US on Tuesday morning. He is going to Ocean City, Maryland for a golf tournament. Yes it is far to go play golf but it is in memory of a dear friend who died unexpectedly and was an employee of this company in the US.

There have been so many deaths in the last couple of weeks around here.

Still waiting for spring and the warm weather to get here. I think it took a detour somewhere. If you find spring, could you please redirect it here. Many thanks.

I bit the bullet and signed up for high speed. Can't wait. I signed up for the courses on Sympoz but I can not view them on dial-up. Sucks to be me at the moment. But hopefully by next week I will have high speed. WoooHoooo!!

I have rambled far too much today. To everyone, HAPPY EASTER. Have a safe and happy weekend.

      Re: Happy Friday!

Well, Deb and Monique are up and at'em. I'm barely there. Woke to a tremendous and very close clap of rolling thunder. It has been pouring down rain here for the last four or five hours. I noticed Al left early for the shop and took his plans for the ark.

Looks like everyone is wondering where spring got lost. I know when I wake up this time of the year and the temps are in the 30's I question whether or not that last tsunami threw the poles off kilter. Al does assure me that last year we had snow on the ground the middle of April. All I do know for certain is that I am sick and tired of all this gray sky and chilly, windy weather. My moods do not handle it well at all.

Nothing special planned for the weekend. Won't be celebrating Easter with the kids since DD is so close to her due date and likes to stay close to home. Did have the six girls here last night and had to run out and get pizza (to their pleasure) to feed them. Of course no one wanted to go home (bedtime). Al and I will take the three guitar players to one of the local Deli's on Saturday afternoon to hear their guitar instructor play. Should be a whole lot of fun.

To everyone - have a wonderful Good Friday, remember the reason for Easter celebrations. Prayers to everyone in need today.

          Re: Happy Friday!

Hi All! Yay, it's Friday! Happy Good Friday to you all. Best of Easters. Let's count our blessings.

Today we actually have some great weather and the temps are already pushing the 50's. Hubby feels up to trying camp this weekend. Probably only one night because the weather is supposed to stink tomorrow. Not much to do up there is you have to stay inside - for him anyway. I've been dying to get back there to work on my son's birthday quilt. All the fabric is up there, so if we don't stay I'll be bringing it back and trying to sneak in sewing time when DS is not around. Wish I didn't have to work and we could leave right now while it's nice.

Anyway, enough about me. Prayers to all who need it. Have a safe and happy weekend (no internet at camp ).

Yay for Good Friday. Unlike you all with cold weather, I live in Louisiana where we have already reached the 90's once this week. I teach first grade and going outsidefor recess and outside PE can become torcherous this time of year but we had beautiful weather yesterday and hopefully it will keep it up for this amazing weekend! Nothing major planned, just praising God for the Cross!!

Ya'll have a blessed weekend and I hope to have some squares made

it's cool and rainy today, apparently April is taking the "April showers" thing seriously. I was hoping it would be warm enough to sit out in the swing and read but no.
Nancy , I was able to do quilts for my older girls one year without either one knowing about it. They were so used to me having lots of projects going they never actually looked at what i was doing.

                Morning All!
Just popping in to wish you a good day. I have the first pass through the machine done for about half of the Wild Things blocks. I'll see how many more I can chain piece before the little one wakes up. Then it's off to the ironing board and setting up for round two!
The sun is trying to make an appearance so we may go to the little park and have our lunch so Missy Marie can get some wiggles out.
Ewww! I need to wash the outside of the windows. Just looked over to see the two hummers fighting over the feeder and realized how dirty the glass is. Add it to the list......
                Have a great day!

It is a wonderful Friday even if it is raining. For as long as I can remember it has always rained at least once on Good Friday - which I find symbolic. Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter holiday and remember all of the blessings we have. If you are inclined to prayer please include members of our military!!

                            Hi everyone!
Thanks for the prayers for Odie. He is still in training and is bummed right now cause they were supposed to fire the big weapons for the first time - it's been so dry in Oklahoma that they nixxed all firing. It will come, I'm sure. I'm thankful that he isn't overseas yet. Prayers for those guys and gals!
Working in the sewing area today. Got my running done in town, so cleaning up is next. Rainy here - wish we could send some of that to the lower midwest.
Yes,happy Good Friday to you all.

You were wondering where spring is gone to. I can tell you it's in the middle of Europe. Just came inside from our garden at 10.00 pm. Had our dinner outside and had a wonderful and warm evening.

Have a very nice Easter weekend and God bless
