As many of you know, I dress my friend's shop window. For spring I am planning a decorating theme. I have some lovely fabric to make a spring quilt, I have some veryyyyy shabby chic 3 step ladders and some left over rolls of wallpaper to dot around.
But what I really really need is a knitting pattern for a paint can and a paint brush! Oh yes I do!
Kay sells wool in her shop......actually you can't move for wool........so I like my window to reflect that as well as the quilting stuff she sells. The window is always done as a surprise for her....... I have total artistic control and I do so like to make her shake her head at me.
Now, I do NOT knit, in the same way as I do NOT clean windows but I have a friend who does and if I can find a pattern she would knit it for me (I hope....haven't asked her yet).
I have looked on the net and couldn't find anything other than the Joyce Greenhowe decorator pattern. I knitted this many years ago when I did knit and it is too small. I need a life size paint tin and brush and I doubt if my friend would be able to enlarge the pattern. I know I couldn't even if I DID knit still.
So there you go people, I lay down the challenge.
Spits on hand..............................................
